Three calculators, one set of tabs

Take-home Pay takes your gross annual salary and number of dependents, then subtracts national pension, health insurance, long-term care and employment insurance, plus an estimated income and local tax, to show your monthly net pay, a line-by-line breakdown and your yearly take-home. Loan Repayment uses the equal principal-and-interest (annuity) method: enter the amount, annual rate and term in years to get a fixed monthly payment, total interest and the number of installments. Savings & Deposits toggles between a regular savings plan funded by monthly deposits and a lump-sum fixed deposit — set the rate and term in months and it returns the maturity amount after the 15.4% interest tax is deducted. Every result recalculates the instant you change a field.

When it earns its keep

Reach for it whenever a headline number hides the figure you actually care about. Comparing a job offer or sizing up a raise? The gross salary rarely matches what reaches your account, so seeing monthly net after all four insurance contributions and tax makes two offers genuinely comparable. Before you sign a mortgage or credit loan, drop in a quoted rate and a 30-year term to reveal the true monthly burden and the total interest paid over the loan's life, then shorten the term to weigh the trade-off. Choosing between drip-feeding cash into a monthly savings account and parking a lump sum in a fixed deposit? The savings tab shows the after-tax gap, since advertised rates are always quoted before the 15.4% cut.

On-device, and honest about estimates

Everything runs client-side: your salary, loan and savings figures are calculated in the browser and never sent to a server, so nothing sensitive leaves your device. The rates are current for 2026 — pension, health, long-term care and employment insurance all use this year's employee shares. Read the income tax as a careful estimate rather than a payslip: it applies the earned-income deduction, progressive brackets, dependent allowances and the earned-income tax credit, but it can't account for non-taxable pay, personal deductions or your year-end settlement, so real withholding will vary. Savings interest is modeled with simple interest, meaning a bank's preferential rates or compounding can shift the actual payout slightly.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the take-home pay figure?

The social-insurance deductions use official 2026 employee rates, so those are precise. The income tax is a well-grounded estimate — it applies the earned-income deduction, progressive brackets, dependent allowances and the earned-income tax credit — but it can't see your non-taxable allowances or year-end settlement, so your real net pay may differ by a small margin.

Which loan repayment method does it use?

Equal principal-and-interest (원리금균등), the most common method in Korea, where you pay the same amount every month. It reports the monthly payment, total interest and number of installments. Bank fees, early prepayments and other schedules such as equal-principal repayment aren't factored in.

How is savings interest calculated and taxed?

Regular savings apply simple interest to each monthly deposit for the months it is held; lump-sum deposits apply simple interest to the full amount for the term. The result already subtracts the 15.4% interest income tax (local tax included), so the maturity amount shown is what you would actually receive.
