🔒 Unit conversions are computed in your browser.

One value, the whole table

Pick a category — length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed, data, or live currency — then type a single value and choose the unit it's in. The tool instantly fills a table with the equivalent in every other unit of that category, so editing the number or switching the base unit recomputes the whole column at once; there's nothing to submit, results appear as you type. Temperature isn't a simple ratio, so Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin use their real conversion formulas rather than a scale factor. Data sizes step in 1024-based increments from bytes up to terabytes, and every result is shown to seven significant figures with grouped thousands so long numbers stay readable at a glance.

Built for comparing, not just answering

A search box or chatbot usually hands back a single figure. This tool shows the entire spread, which is quicker whenever you're weighing several units against each other or trying to build a feel for a number. Scale a recipe by reading US cups and fluid ounces straight into millilitres and litres; size up a property by seeing pyeong, square feet, acres and hectares next to each other; sanity-check a spec sheet that mixes km/h, mph and knots; or trace a download across bytes, kilobytes, and on up to terabytes. The currency tab works the same way: enter one amount and watch it resolve into USD, EUR, KRW, JPY, GBP and four more at once, so a travel budget or a cross-border invoice never needs the same conversion run twice.

On-device math, transparent rates

Every physical conversion is plain arithmetic that runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded, and the page keeps working offline once it has loaded. The one exception is the currency tab, which fetches the latest daily reference rates from the free public exchange-rate data service, sourced from the European Central Bank, and prints the exact date those rates apply to so you always know how fresh they are. Because these are published reference rates rather than live dealer quotes, treat the currency figures as reliable estimates for budgeting and planning rather than an exact trading price. Everything outside that one network request stays local, private and instant, with no account, sign-in or usage limit to work around.

Frequently asked questions

Can one value convert to every unit at once?

Yes — type a value, pick its base unit, and the whole category updates simultaneously. Enter 1 metre and you instantly see millimetres, centimetres, kilometres, inches, feet, yards and miles; the same live table applies to weight, temperature, area, volume, speed and data.

Where do the currency rates come from, and are they current?

The currency tab pulls the latest daily reference rates from public exchange-rate data, which republishes European Central Bank rates. The reference date is shown beneath the results so you can confirm how recent they are. They are indicative reference rates meant for planning, not live trading quotes.

Is anything I enter uploaded?

No for every physical unit — length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed and data all convert locally in your browser and keep working offline. Only the currency tab makes a network request, and it fetches exchange rates; the amount you enter is converted on-device, never sent to a server.
