How premiums are calculated

Ordinary hourly wage = monthly ordinary wage ÷ 209. For 5+ employees: overtime adds 50% (×1.5), night work (22:00–06:00) adds 50%, and holiday work adds 50% up to 8 hours and 100% beyond. Overtime that is also at night stacks to double.

Watch overtime at night

If overtime falls between 22:00 and 06:00, enter those hours under both overtime and night work so the two premiums stack to ×2.

Under 5 employees

Workplaces with fewer than 5 employees are not covered by the premium rules and pay only the ordinary wage. Select 'Under 5' and the tool calculates without premiums.
